### Responsibilities

Incumbent(s) for this position performs the following duties:

* Manages, directs, and oversees the budgetary and financial management process, which includes long-range financial planning for the region, and the annual region-wide operating budget plans for all direct and reimbursable funding.
* Directs Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) and other Mission Support staff members in their various roles and responsibilities supporting acquisition/procurement programs. This includes acquisition planning, estimating and budget preparation, auditing activities, providing good customer service, and overseeing the development and delivery of quality procurement request packages.
* Provides direction and guidance to staff members and to management officials, etc., regarding various policies for completing hiring procedures. Works with management officials and subordinate staff members to ensure proper adherence to all HR and HR related principles, statues, regulations, and guidelines.
* Oversees the management and maintenance of an effective regional fleet program that complies with organizational directives and policies and ensures efficient and economical use of vehicles. Oversees the analytical work of managing, regulating, coordinating, or otherwise exercising control over property, including supplies, equipment, or other material items. Coordinates and oversees all regional activities related to facility or space management and coordinates with regional stakeholders, including discussion on facility requirements and works both with FPS HQ and NPPD Facilities teams in proposing, planning and completing space projects.
* Supervises a staff of to include subordinate supervisors and employees.
* Assists with Regional LE Operations on any and all mission support related activities including but not limited to special operations deployments, training, countermeasure cost analysis, as well as potential national agency assistance as needed.

### Qualifications

*To qualify for this position*:

*GS-14*: Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service that included directing and/or overseeing the activities and processes of administrative mission support functions such as budget, acquisition/procurement, human capital, fleet, property/inventory, facility/space, and/or security programs; analyzing/evaluating administrative program operations and recommending new or revised policies and procedures; and providing leadership or supervision to employees.

*Time-in-Grade Requirements:*
Submit a copy of your most recent Notification of Personnel Action (SF-50) that demonstrates your eligibility for consideration, eg, length of time you have been in your current/highest grade (examples of appropriate SF-50s include promotions, with-in grade/range increases); your current promotion potential; proof of permanent appointment if applying based on an interchange agreement; etc.* Please Note*: While a General Adjustment and/or Award SF-50 may be your most recent SF-50 it typically DOES NOT show proof of Time in Grade. Thus, you may have to submit more than one SF-50 as proof of Time in Grade.

National Service Experience (ie, volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (eg, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (eg, professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.
