Business Analyst - 6-Month Contract - Dublin (Remote) - €450(EUR) per day (Outside IR35) (Contract)

Location: Dublin Country: Ireland Rate: Euros 450(EUR)pd
 

We are currently seeking a talented Business Analyst to support our financial services client in driving software implementation projects. This role will focus on gathering requirements, creating user stories, collaborating with testers and developers, and developing user guides for mortgage-related software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience in mortgage-related financial services is a bonus. This is a remote position with a 6-month contract duration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Software Implementation:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and identify software solutions to meet financial services requirements.
    • Support the implementation of software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Work closely with development teams to facilitate the integration and customization of software solutions.
  2. User Stories:

    • Develop clear and concise user stories based on financial services requirements, with a focus on mortgage-related processes.
    • Prioritize user stories based on business value and regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct regular grooming sessions with stakeholders to refine user stories and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  3. Requirements Gathering:

    • Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements related to mortgage processes.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories for development and testing teams.
    • Collaborate closely with testers and developers to ensure that software solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
  4. Collaboration with Testers and Developers:

    • Work closely with testing teams to develop test plans and scenarios specific to mortgage-related software solutions.
    • Provide support to developers during the implementation phase, ensuring that requirements are accurately interpreted and implemented.
    • Collaborate with testers to conduct thorough testing of software solutions, including regression testing and user acceptance testing.
  5. User Guides:

    • Develop comprehensive user guides and documentation tailored to mortgage professionals, including loan officers and underwriters.
    • Ensure that user guides are clear, concise, and user-friendly, providing step-by-step instructions for navigating software solutions.
    • Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to promote user adoption and proficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on mortgage-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to work effectively with remote teams and stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with mortgage processes, regulations, and industry standards is preferred.
  • Experience working on remote projects and managing deliverables within a defined timeframe.
