Senior Program Manager (Contract)

Location: Dublin (2 days onsite per week) Country: Ireland Rate: DOE
 

24-Month Contract - Hybrid/Dublin (2 days onsite per week) - Competitive Daily Rate

Our Dublin-based pharmaceutical client is seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead our SAP S4/HANA implementation project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful ERP implementations, preferably with SAP and specifically with S4/HANA. Experience with dual ERP systems, cutover processes, supply chain, and warehouse operations is highly desirable. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end implementation of SAP S4/HANA, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and timelines.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive programme plans, including project scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to define requirements, design solutions, and drive project delivery.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination across all levels of the organisation.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to the implementation, proactively identifying and addressing challenges to minimise disruptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices in ERP implementation methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in programme management, with a focus on ERP implementations.
  • Proven experience with SAP ERP systems, preferably S4/HANA, and familiarity with dual ERP systems strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain and warehouse operations within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
