Role Overview:

As the Head of Clearing Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in managing Clearing Operations for their Crypto Exchange. From hands-on design to day-to-day operations, you'll lead the charge in building and executing a world-class clearing function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clearing operations, encompassing custody, settlement, transfers of fiat and crypto, derivatives, futures, and additional functions.
  • Establish and guide a top-tier team from inception to bolster the expansion of the clearing function.
  • Foster close collaboration with management, product teams, and control functions to propel continuous product development and improvements.
  • Guarantee adherence to regulatory and risk management standards relevant to clearing operations.
  • Oversee critical business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth experience in derivatives, futures, CFDs, and related financial instruments.
  • Detailed knowledge of regulatory and risk management requirements.
  • Track record of leading operating teams within regulated clearing businesses.
  • Experience in designing and implementing processes and tools for clearing operations.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and internal controls.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and a global perspective.
