B1/B2 Licensed Engineer (Contract/Permanent)

Location: Manchester  Country: UK Rate: 75k
 

Job Title: B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer
Location: Line Stations across the UK
Permanent/contract positions

Our client has multiple openings for experienced B1 and B1/B2 licensed aircraft engineers to support line maintenance activities at stations across the UK.


Responsibilities
Perform line maintenance inspections and troubleshooting on various narrow body aircraft types such as B737NG and advantageous if experienced on B757/B767
Rectify aircraft defects and faults to return aircraft back to service
Conduct maintenance tasks according to approved data and regulatory standards
Accurately document all work carried out in aircraft logs and records
Liaise with pilots, engineers and planners to coordinate maintenance schedules


Requirements
Hold a valid B1 or B1/B2 Aircraft Engineer's License issued by EASA/CAA
Have B737NG type training and certification
Previous line maintenance experience is essential
Demonstrate 6 months system/component recency in the last 2 years
Have current EWIS, Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety and SMS qualifications
Eligibility to work in the UK with appropriate visa status
