Enterprise Architect (Contract)

Location: Glasgow, Scotland Country: UK Rate: £600 - £850 per day
 

Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Enterprise Architect.

  • Initial 6 months
  • Inside of IR35
  • Daily rate of £600 - £850
  • Hybrid working (Glasgow or Perth/Aberdeen location), 2 - 3 days a week

Supporting a programme that is moving our client from a limited set of capabilities to a modern, could-based, application portfolio that will enhance our clients operations in all areas. The focus of this role will be on building out the Technology Baseline model, developing capability and system roadmaps aligned to our Technology Strategy, guiding solution delivery and supporting planning into the next investment period.

Skills/Experience Required

  • The role will operate across several programme streams, responsible for definition and agreement of roadmaps and guiding solution designs to align with them.
  • Business areas will include customer and stakeholder engagement, candidates with energy or operational technology experience would be highly desirable.
  • A structured and methodical approach (eg TOGAF) to solutioning, and the ability to lead discussions and influence stakeholders who are used to operating with less structured approaches.
  • Experience of capability based modelling, and developing future scenarios in an EA Modelling tool.
  • The ability to present content at both a strategic level, and to deliver more focussed design decisions, with the authority that comes from a deep and broad technical knowledge.
