Unit4 Payroll Specialist (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: 300 - 400
 

I am working with a London based university who are looking for a meticulous and experienced Unit4 Payroll Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing using Unit4's payroll software. They will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies. Additionally, they will handle payroll inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and assist with payroll-related reporting tasks.

The Role:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Length: 3 months
  • IR35: Outside
  • Location: Remote
  • Rate: 300 - 400

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise Unit4's payroll software to process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
  • Verify and input payroll data including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
  • Review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and payments accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Generate payroll-related reports for management as needed.
  • Assist with ad hoc payroll projects and tasks as assigned.
