Our client, ABN Amro Bank, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join their London-based team. The role involves assisting with the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable function, working closely with the wider finance team, and contributing to the fulfilment of both internal management and external regulatory requirements. What you'll do:

As a Finance Assistant at ABN Amro Bank, you will play an integral role within the Finance department. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the smooth operation of the Accounts Payable function. This includes managing expense claims, executing payment runs, processing invoices, and undertaking reconciliation work. You will also contribute to cashflow forecasting and work collaboratively with the wider finance team to ensure all reporting obligations are met. Furthermore, you will help ensure that robust financial controls are in place and consistently adhered to.

Assist with the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable function
Manage expense claims ensuring policy compliance
Execute weekly BACS and CHAPS payment runs for expenses
Undertake standard reconciliation work as required
Process, verify and reconcile invoices
Contribute to cashflow forecasting
Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to meet all reporting obligations
Ensure that adequate financial controls are in place and adhered to
