Azure Architect (Contract)

Position: Azure Architect
Contract Duration: 3 Month Engagement (Outside IR35)
Rate: Up to £600 per day
Location: Remote - UK (Must be based in the UK)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Architect to join a respected Microsoft Partner for a 3-month engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for scoping, defining, architecting, and implementing a new Azure service for an enterprise client. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely and collaborate with a leading Microsoft Solutions Partner on a significant project.

Responsibilities:

• Scope and define project requirements for a new Azure service.
• Architect and design robust Azure solutions to meet client needs.
• Implement Azure IaaS/PaaS solutions.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep.
• Deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in Azure IaaS/PaaS.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or Bicep.
• Must have experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
