ServiceNow Developer (Contract)
Location: Basel Country: Switzerland
ServiceNow Developer vacancy for our Basel based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
- Implementing complex functionalities to meet business requirements
- Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Integrating ServiceNow platform with other systems and participating in ServiceNow major upgrades
- Engaging in the design discussions and architectural decisions
- Maintaining and supporting the existing processes
- Managing the development life cycle and deployments between ServiceNow instances
Your experience/knowledge:
- 6+ years of IT development experience with a minimum of 2 years working with ServiceNow
- Proficiency in ServiceNow platform, including experience with at least three ServiceNow modules, especially ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, SecOps, and CSM
- Strong development skills to implement integrations between ServiceNow and other internal systems using tools, technologies, and protocols
- Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow front- and Back End capabilities, including web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Proficiency in Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI policies, Validation Scripts and Background Scripts in ServiceNow
- Deep understanding of the full software development life cycle including business requirements analysis, design, testing and deployment
